  • Mobile connector campaign: You can add steps in the campaign builder. Expandi will send connection requests via mobile. This is a great way to bypass the LinkedIn limit of 100 weekly contact requests. This feature allows you to send 100 extra contact requests per week.
  • Email outreach: Expandi now also offers email automation features. That allows you to build a multichannel outreach campaign combining LinkedIn and email outreach. The email feature provides a high level of personalization: you can include dynamic gifs (same as with the LinkedIn outreach).
  • Team management: Expandi makes managing multiple LinkedIn accounts easy. You only need to buy one seat per LinkedIn account but you can start getting a discount from 10 seats.

Is Expandi good for email outreach?

The addition of email outreach features into Expandi increases the good value/cost ratio of the tool, even more.

Combining email outreach with LinkedIn can help you increase your conversion rate. Usually, only 20 to 50 % of people will accept your connection request. If people do not accept your contact request you can try to reach out via email.

However, Expandi isn’t the best solution if you plan to focus on email outreach. Expandi is missing key features for :

  • Email deliverability
  • Email outreach scaling

When it comes to email deliverability Expandi doesn’t offer any email warmup. This would be critical in order to land in the prospect inbox. It is possible to combine Expandi with a dedicated warmup tool like Warmup Inbox to mitigate this limitation.

Furthermore, Expandi is not great for scaling your email outreach. The main way to scale cold email outreach is to distribute your outreach across multiple email inboxes. You need one more seat for each inbox connected to Expandi, which means that you need to pay $99 per inbox.

This isn’t great when compared to alternatives :

  • Woodpecker allows you to connect an unlimited number of email inboxes, for a pricing starting at $20/month.
  • Lemlsit costs per $16 inbox and has a realy handy inbox rotation feature, which enables an SDR to use several inboxes on the same campaign.

LinkedIn outreach is typically low in scale with a max of 200 leads per week (per LinkedIn account). So Expandi email features are great if you want to use email as a complement to LinkedIn outreach. But if you want to scale up your email outreach there are better tools available.
